A quarter peal was rung on Sunday 12th June 2016 to celebrate the Official 90th Birthday of Her majesty Queen Elizabeth ll. The details are: 1260 Plain Bob Triples Treble Gill Hitchings, 2 Michael Lewis, 3 Robert Bell, 4 Susan Bernau, 5 Keith Player, 6 Peter Hatherell, 7 Richard Gray (c), Tenor Lisa Fleming.  

To mark the 90th Birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth ll we plan to ring a quarter peal of Plain Bob Triples on Sunday 12th June. The start time will be soon after 12 noon.

As  a contribition to the BBC Festival of Music the bells will be rung sometime between 7pm & 8pm on Friday 3rd June. This is part of a nationwide collaboration so that as many church bells as possible can be rung.

This year’s annual tower outing will take place on Saturday 20th August. We will be visiting several churches in north-west Somerset. Further details later.

The bells will be rung between 11 am and 12 noon to celebrate the 90th Birthday of HM Queen Elizabeth ll. This will be general ringing and NOT a quarter peal attempt.

In 2014 there was major work carried out in the tower to replace a rotten wooden beam. There will be 2 quarter peal attempts in the near future. Saturday 28th November at 17:45 and Saturday 19th December at 17:45. Both ringing sessions will precede Carol services in the Abbey. S
